Husband going through chemotherapy

. My husband is currently going through chemotherapy after having had a cysts on his bladder  he has had two rounds of chemotherapy up to now still more to go over the next 2 years. He is unbelievable because he is still working full time and he has a really positive attitude  He was told the cancer has gone but still needs chemotherapy. I'm trying to keep the same positive attitude but its not easy for me.

  • Hello Cathy61

I'm sorry to hear that your husband has been undergoing treatment for cysts in his bladder. It's great to hear that he's been able to maintain such a positive attitude. I know that many members here in the community will understand how helpful this can be when going through treatment.

It's understandable that you might find it hard at times. When a loved one is diagnosed with cancer, it sends shock waves through those around them and it can be very unsettling to watch your loved one go through treatment. Do you have support around you Cathy61? I hope that you have friends or a support network that you can reach out to when you find things overwhelming. If it would help to chat with one of our nurses, I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information and support they can. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

I hope that your husband's treatments continue to progress smoothly and that his regular check-ups show that things are working well.

    Best wishes to you both,
    Jenn
