I'm sorry to hear about your wife's diagnosis. Undoubtedly, this will have been a difficult time for you both, so it's good to hear that there has been some positive news regarding her response to treatment so far. 

Watching a loved one deal with a cancer diagnosis and all the changes that that can bring to both your lives can be an unsettling and worrying time. It's understandable that you're experiencing a rollercoaster of emotions at the moment. We have some information on our website about taking care of yourself that may be helpful for you to read through. 

I believe many members of the Cancer Chat community who have been in similar circumstances would agree that talking can be a powerful tool for coping with difficult situations. Do talk with your wife about how you're both feeling. Having open and honest conversations can help you both cope with the difficult times that you're navigating at the moment. Hopefully, you have a network of family and friends around you as well that you can lean on for support. Or it may be that there is an organisation such as Maggie's in your local area where you can go and talk with one of their specialist cancer support workers. If it would help to talk with one of our nurses, you're most welcome to give them a call. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information and support they can.
