My mum got diagnosed with cancer recently. She's getting her first chemo appointment soon and I'm hoping it goes well. She isn't telling me much about it all since I'm fairly young, and I think she wants to protect me. I don't know how to deal with it all, and I'm scared of what's going to happen. I'm not really sure what I wanted from this, maybe just letting it out helped a little.
