  • Hello Riverglider

I'm so sorry to hear about your husband's diagnosis and the situation that you find yourselves in. Undoubtedly, this is a very difficult time for you both and it's understandable that you're feeling overwhelmed by everything.

You mention in your post that you have BPD. What support do you receive to manage your mental health Riverglider? If you have support from a specialist service or key worker, then do get in touch with them to let them know that you're struggling. Hopefully they will be able to provide some additional support to you. If you don't have access to a MH team then make an appointment to talk with your GP next week so that you can access the support that you need whilst caring for your husband through this difficult time.

If it would help to talk things through with one of our nurses, you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

I hope that you can access the professional support you need and that you and your husband are being well supported by those around you.

Sending you both my best wishes,
