It is so hard too seeing them not eating or drinking, my mom is stage 4 lung cancer and she stopped eating 12 days ago she still drinks some but not much, her lips and legs are swallowing, im so concerned, but the palliative care team said its normal for people who they have stage 4 cancer giving up eating or drinking, they even told me, that trying to give her food its worse for my mon as her organs might shutting down, i feel so bad because i can’t accept that she cannot eat, its just not easy for them or for us ! And sometimes you wonder are the nurses trying to help or do they care  , so many questions in my head !
