  • Welcome to the forum TILLYSIDNEY,
I’m sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing. Caring for a loved one during such a difficult time can be stressful, and it’s understandable that you're feeling concerned about her rapid weight loss.
It’s good to hear that you’ve already reached out to the GP and dietitian. In addition to the support they provide, there are resources that might help with managing weight loss in people with cancer, especially when they’re not able to eat enough. I’d encourage you to have a look at this page from our website, which covers the topic of weight loss in cancer: Weight Loss in Cancer.
Hopefully, others who have faced similar issues will be here shortly to talk with you and offer more advice. In the meantime, our team of nurses are available to speak with you if speaking with someone with a medical background might help. You can reach them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Please know you’re not alone, and we’re here for you.
    Best wishes,
