My mum

Hey everyone, unfortunately yesterday my mum has been diagnosed with pancreatic and liver cancer. Can't be operated on and not curable. As her daughter i want to support her the best I can. She has asked me as of today to be the point of contact with drs.

She's had so much ect and this is why she was sent for her scans.

As for me I'm distraught, the last 24 hours have been a blur and I can't believe this horrible disease is going to take my beautiful mum.

Any advise on being the best I can be for her is greatly appreciated. Any advise will be so useful to me.

Thank u all for reading this

And sending love and strength to all the other carers out there x

  • I've just been in hospital with my mum for biopsies. She's lost so much weight. It's a tumour on her liver I'm in the unknown stage re treatable but it's definitely done dramatic damage. She's too young. Feel your pain.

My coping so far has been to keep myself as mentally and physically healthy as possible to be supportive.

Take a good walk, bath, sleep well and then make sure you eat enough and drink plenty of water. Watch comedies before sleep she might watch something light too.

For mum you could batch make soup, smoothies, anything easy to digest. You can use the spa type music online for her as a real calming environment. Look up healing frequency on YouTube or Spotify.

I'm not sure what we're going to be told. 2weeks of limbo.

    Take care x
