Secondary lung cancer

My husband has been diagnosed with stage 4 secondary lung cancer. He is losing weight rapidly and very fatigued. He has not been told if any treatment is available yet. His sodium levels are very lie - 124- and he has been put in restricted fluids. Thus is really challenging as the primary cancer was in his throat and it gets very dry. Wondering if there are other treatments for this?
Really scared he doesn’t have long left.

  • Firstly, very sorry to hear this. I have read that palliative chemotherapy and/or palliative radiotherapy can ease the symptoms and make your husband more comfortable. This is something that could only be authorised by speaking with your husbands oncologist. Best wishes.
