Very sorry to hear this Julie. A cancer doctor told me that timescales are almost impossible to give because patients can 'rally'. When I pushed him he said; 'a few weeks'. Jenn has already given the best possible advice. Practically, you can certainly help by keeping your eye on your husband's medication. Sedation and pain relief will prevent discomfort and distress.
