  • Welcome to the forum Sal59, although I'm sorry to hear your mum has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Hopefully some of our members who have been on this journey will be along soon to share their experiences and advice, but if you'd like to speak with one of our cancer nurses about this, they're available on 0808 800 4040. Their phone lines are open Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m and they will do all they can to support you and answer any other questions you may have at this time.

We're thinking of you Sal59 and wishing you and your mum all the best when you find out more about her diagnosis this week.

    Kind regards,

  • My mum has just received same diagnosis. As she’s 86 they don’t seem to want to do anything-have they offered your mum treatment options?

Hi we went last week to hospital and no there is no treatment available to here because of her age .She was very jaundiced so they put a stent in to help her be more comfortable as she is feeling bloated and sick all the time her caner has not spread to another organs its 4cm by 4cm and they give her 3 to 6 months to live .
