Mum diagnosis and very rapid decline

Don't know where to start really. Mum diagnosed with stage 2/3 lung cancer in April. Went through Chemo and Radio therapy, intensive and she came out with a good prognosis. Moved on to immunotherapy. One dose. Then lung clots, difficulty breathing and general movement, zimma frame and commode because she couldn't make to to the bathroom in her ground floor flat. She is 68. I've just got back from visiting her in hospital after a lung collapse and fluid on the lung. Constant drain and from.appearance what seems like a stroke yesterday.

This is since August at end of her treatment. In 2 months she has gpme from coherent, intelligent, bright spark to a flicker and shadow of her former self and I'm struggling. I feel like we are at the end of something we don't know about. Still waiting on multiple test results but it would appear the lung cancer has transitioned into something vastly more aggressive.

Not sure what I am hoping for here but I guess someone who understands how shocking this is.
