  • Hello J.Evans

I'm so sorry to hear about your Mum's recent diagnosis of oesophageal cancer. Undoubtedly this is a very difficult time for you both.

Tiredness is a known side effect of radiotherapy treatment. Side effects can continue to worsen after treatment finishes so it may be that the tiredness your Mum is experiencing is related to her treatment. However, I'd encourage you to talk with her specialist nurse, Consultant, or GP. Hopefully, they will be able to offer you some support and reassurance.

If you'd like to talk things through with one of our team of nurses you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information and support they can.

I do hope that things improve for your Mum soon. Keep in touch and let us know how you're both coping.

    Best wishes,
