I am so sorry to hear that your husband has been diagnosed with advanced oesophageal cancer with mets to liver and abdomen. The news must have hit you hard and it's normal to feel in limbo in a situation like this. The oncology appointment should help you understand a bit better what to expect in the coming weeks and what the treatment plan might be. It is normal to be emotional after getting this devastating news but I just wanted to reassure you this is a normal reaction and you are not making it worse for him. I am sure he appreciates having your support and the fact that you have currently taken time off sick to be by his side.
