Ampullary Cancer

My 84yr old mum was diagnosed 3weeks ago, she is not having surgery or chemo

not sure yet if it’s spread, awaiting a further scope down to see.
she has lost her appetite, sleeping on and off as she’s exhausted. Has always been extremely healthy, this cancer came from nowhere and knocked her sideways. She’s unable to sleep at night, nauseated, diarrhoea and generally just very sick.
has anyone dealt with this rare cancer

thankyou so much for taking time to read the post.

  • Thankyou Ben

Not an easy time, as so many others navigate their way through the same fog, maybe different types of cancer, but ultimately all fused together in the onward journey into the unknown.
my mum has decided she doesn’t want surgery, ( the Whipple procedure )although it hasn’t been offered anyway and has said she doesn’t want chemo.
we, as a family, will support her wishes

thankyou for your response, much appreciated
