Struggling to stay positive to support my husband. He has been diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer

Hi my husband has prostate cancer that has spread to bones and lung.

He had hormone therapy to start with which kept PSA down for 3 months he’s now on his 7th round of chemo.

he’s been so strong and doesn’t complain but broke down the other night we are both feeling so very sad

im trying to stay positive but it’s so difficult

How do I keep positive so I can support him, when I just want to sit and cry .
sorry I’m new on here

  • I too have recently been diagnosed with Advanced Prostrate cancer spread throughout my bones and lymph modes. On hormone therapy and enzalutamide treatment however PSA levels last checked plateaued in high three hundreds. Its very hard to stay positive your cancer team are there for you both and will be able to put you in touch with a professional or just someone you can talk to if you are comfortable with that. Personally just try to take each day one at a time good days and not so good try setting myself small achievable goals.
