I'm sorry to hear your husband has bladder cancer, as well as colitis and mild chronic cystitis. This must be a very challenging time for you both.
Unfortunately I can't answer the question you've asked in your post, but if you give one of our cancer nurses a call they should be able to help. They're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m and they will do all they can to answer this, and any other questions you may have at this time as well.
Hopefully some of our members who have been in a similar situation will be along soon to offer their support and advice but in the meantime, our thoughts are with you and we hope your husband is able to get some relief from the cystitis soon.
