A very warm welcome to the forum LouLou64 although I'm so sorry to hear about your father.
This must be an incredibly difficult time for you and your family but the Cancer Chat community are here for you LouLou64 and I'm sure some of our members will stop by soon to offer their support and advice.
I hope this information we have about what happens in the final weeks and days will help but due to what is being discussed this can be quite an upsetting read, so I'd suggest only going through it properly when you feel ready to do so or have someone with you for support.
If you have any further questions, don't hesitate in giving our cancer nurses a call on 0808 800 4040. Their phone lines are open Monday - Friday between 9a.m -5p.m and they will do all they can to help.
I know there isn't anything I can say or do that will make this any easier, but I hope you can take some comfort from knowing that our thoughts are with you at this time.
Kind regards,
Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
