I'm sorry to hear about your cousin's diagnosis. It's good to hear that her recent surgery was successful but it's understandable that she's feeling very anxious ahead of her chemotherapy starting. 

What support does your cousin have in her local area? Does she have other family members and friends who are supporting her? Hopefully, she has a good network of people around her who can help with practical everyday things. 

In the meantime, I'm sure she will appreciate a listening ear at the end of the phone from you. Having someone to talk to can be a great source of support and remember that that chat doesn't always have to be about her health. Sometimes, when people are going through cancer treatment, being able to talk about normal everyday subjects can be a really great distraction and help give them a sense of normality. Be guided by your cousin on what she wants to talk about.
