Husband trying to support wife post mastectomy 4 weeks ago. Now this evening left her in hospital with ovarian cancer diagnosis

I don't know folks. We took the news of breast cancer 2 months ago and stepped up to fight. My wife changed her diet and prepped for the mastectomy. She had abdominal distention after 2 days. Over the last 4 weeks she has been getting more nauseous, tired and weak. During this time we twice visited our G.P. neither examining her abdomen.

We thought it might be water having had biopsy sent to California you know? Results were good.

This evening we have been told there is a "mass around the stomach" and both ovaries " have a mass".

We are 54 and very frightened now. She is very ill, needed a blood transfusion.

We aren't very confident, anybody else experience like this? Sorry first blog x
