Have they offered her a stent at all. Or is the cancer too advanced.
My mum had a stent on the 20th june she was very poorly after the stent as was rushed into hospital 4 days later with low blood pressure and high heart rate the hospital said the stent was on a angle but eventually repositioned itself in place mum is now bedbound not eating food only one meal replacement drink a day she is very confused now and sleeping a lot
Hi just reading your msg sounds like my mum .. she is also not eating and barely able to get about the house .
The consultant has said she is too weak for any treatment
My mum-in-law was in same position, mid 80s so operation not possible. Was given RT which extended her life for nearly a year, but she had no quality towards the end as was also deaf and blind. Also living on meal replacements. Although upsetting for us to lose her, it was a merciful release for her at the end.
