My mum has recently had pancreatic cancer, and had surgery she has stitches across her abdomen. Does anyone have any advice on the best way to wash her hair without causing too much discomfort.

Hello Sally.d,
Everyday tasks could be uncomfortable due to the position of the stitches. Is there someone who could help to wash her hair or maybe if she has a comfortable chair she could position by a sink to help? Our website has some advice on coping after pancreatic cancer surgery and if you'd like to talk to our team of cancer nurses, you can on the freephone 0808 800 4040. Lines open 9 to 5 Monday to Friday.
I hope this helps,

Try looking on Amazon for Nilaqua Towel Off Shampoo or Nilaqua Rinse Free Shampoo Cap.
My mum's bedbound and uses the Nilaqua Rinse Free Shampoo Cap. Her hair has been cleaned using the cap for two years and it looks fine.
Hope this helps.
