I am so scared my sister is in recovery from tryroid cancer, she had is removed last year and has had radio therapy

Today she's has been diagnosed with a brain tumour.

We don't know much more than that but they are talking about treatments and hoping it can be removed.

My sister is my life line and she has 4 children. I am breaking inside and I am trying to be strong but is tough.

I'm hoping she can beat this

Hello Hestham,

Your poor sister has been through so much - first thyroid cancer and now the discovery of this secondary brain tumour. I can imagine this is incredibly tough for you and her loved ones and I can't help thinking of her four children. It is truly heartbreaking and I wanted you to know you are not alone and I hope that I will be joined by members of our community who have been through something similar before.

It's promising though that they are talking about treatments and I hope that it can be removed. Do you know what the treatment options might be at this stage? You will probably find out more in the coming weeks and if there is anything you wanted to discuss or ask our cancer nurses, they have a free helpline you can ring Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm - the number to call is 0808 800 4040.

I hope that she will be able to start treatment soon and that it will be effective against this brain tumour.
