I had a full body pet ct scan on the 27th of May. I requested my results a few weeks later via the subject access team. The radiology report had a footnote stating that it had been generated by copying and pasting from the original report. At the bottom there was code yellow1 due to incidental, unexpected or significant findings. Some images were also unavailable. I understand that consultants don't want to alarm people, particularly if they don't understand the implications of the findings, however, I find it very frustrating that I still don't have the full results. I had a phone call today informing me that the consultant now wants me to have another blood test ( I had one 8 weeks ago) before he will give me any results. I really feel its unfair to keep patients waiting. Is there any way I can access all my results and the full radiology report without waiting again?
For context I already know that I have bilateral lymphadenopathy in the thoracic region, a portacaval lymph node, suv max 4.8, a periportal lymph node suv max 4.6, several lung nodules, one is 28mm suv max 7.1, these are more confluent in the lower left lobe. I've had gastric issues for some time as well as respiratory issues and repeated sinus infections so I wouldn't be surprised if there were issues with any of those areas, or a blood cancer.
