I'm sorry to hear that your daughter has recently had surgery on her thyroid for a possible cancer diagnosis. It's understandably a worrying time for you both.
We know that for many people this period of waiting and uncertainty can be difficult. Has the tea given her any indication about when she may hear some news? Don't be afraid to call them and ask for an update. It can sometimes help to know roughly how long she may be waiting for news.
