Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to hear of the situation with your father. It's very difficult to advise on this, particularly with your father being overseas. As a general rule it's the doctor/specialist involved in the care who is always best placed to advise.

You are welcome to post in the 'Ask the Nurses' section of this forum if you'd like to get a response from one of our nurses, although they're not able to give medical opinions as such and again with your father being in the states it may be more tricky.
