My dad an lung cancer

My 69 year old dad has stage 3a lung cancer in the left lung, it's 3.8 cm and also a 3 cm in the node. It is localised advanced lung cancer and unfortunately his mental health has swayed him from having any biopsies and also can't get out of house to have any treatment. He has stopped eating and is so thin now and he is very weak. Because we don't know what kind of cancer we feel that we don't know what's to come or expect, he is having hot an cold sweats an has diarrhea, he is paranoid alot also and he is having so many panic attacks. The hospice nurse said months but we still don't feel none the wiser. My dad today also looks really wired/high in his eyes but hasn't had any meds to make him that way

  • Hello Samanth

I'm sorry to hear about your Dad's diagnosis. It's obviously a difficult time for you all.

I can see that the nurse team has already replied with some useful advice and support to your post from earlier today.

You mention in this post that you're concerned about a new change that you've noticed in your Dad's health today. Don't forget that you can call NHS 111 for advice and support at any time if you are worried about your Dad's health.

    Best wishes,
