MDS and thigh cramps

My mum is literally screaming in agony with thigh cramps. What should I do? I've got a heat mat on her and giving her cocodomol. Is there anything else I should be asking the palliative nurse for?

Also she is constantly weeing and her tenalady is not coping should I just let her wet the bed with the appropriate incontinence bed pads.

Hello Wendy33

I'm so sorry to hear that your Mum is struggling with pain at the moment. Do you have a number that you can call the palliative care team for advice over the weekend? If so then give them a call.

If you don't have an out-of-hours number then please call NHS 111 to speak to an emergency Dr for support with managing her pain. You should also tell them about the loss of bladder control.

Hopefully, someone will be able to arrange some appropriate pain relief for your Mum.
