  • Hi Bajwa2123,

    Welcome to Cancer Chat.

We’re very sorry to hear about your sister in law. It is impossible to say how much treatment would cost in the UK were your sister-in-law able to travel here. We do have some information on our website about travelling to the UK for medical treatment but you may find it is just as expensive to go down this route if not more so. Cancer Research UK is not able to recommend cancer specialists, but you can find details of private UK specialists and hospitals on several websites. Some specialists are willing to give a private medical opinion without you needing to travel to the UK.

It might be worth your brother speaking to an organisation in India as they may have a suggestion of where she can get the treatment she needs. The Cancer Aid and Research Foundation in India is involved in giving monetary help to cancer patients. It might be worth contacting them for advice. I’m sorry we cant offer any more information on obtaining treatment in the UK.

    Best wishes,

    Ben
