It's horrible my mum was given 3 to 6 months in January 2023.. And is still here and in pain every day. You feel helpless. I feel so stressed some days she has carers now 4 times a day to take the pressure off me but it's still hard
Yes its nasty. Wish there was something that could be done for rhe pain. My mum is on week 6. Slowly things are changing and it's so hard. We have 4 carers a day. My dad is there 24/7. I have 2 sisters and we are in and out all the time. My mum doesn't want to die and is scared at times
Do you have a hospice helping you with palliative care. I contacted macmillan for help with my mum they are brilliant. It's vile watching someone you love suffering. I've had to experience it before x
We are currently do the care ourselves plus 4 homepage calls. St Michael's hospice nurses visit weekly. But mum is struggling with pain so much that that have just asked if she would like to go to hospice for a short visit so they can try and get mum on meds that will do more to help. I'm sorry you have had to go through this once let alone more ttimes.x
