Mum was diagnosed with cancer of the jaw last year, had major surgery to remove it (which went really well), followed by 6 weeks of radiotherapy as a 'belt and braces' approach. We have been informed this morning that cancer has returned in her throat. I am numb, i don't know what to say, what to do, we're all broken. We are back at the hospital on Monday to get further information and discuss a plan with the consultant.
