Hello Jorjafox
I'm sorry to hear about your father-in-law's diagnosis. Undoubtedly this is a difficult time for you all and it's natural that you may want to protect and support your husband through this.
You mention that you don't know what stage diagnosis your father-in-law is at this time so I'm going to presume that there is another appointment in the pipeline. If so then it's likely that the team will be able to answer any questions that your father-in-law or other family members have at that time. Whether you choose to talk with your husband about the information that you've read so far is a difficult question for me to answer. Only you know how best to approach that topic but I'm sure that whether you decide to have that conversation now or wait for the specialists to give more details, your husband will find your support invaluable over the coming weeks and months.
If there's anything you, or anyone else in the family, would like to talk through with one of our team of nurses you're most welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information, and support they can.
Sending you all my best wishes,
Jenn
