Hello-I'm wondering if anybody has had a similar experience. My father, mid 80s, has just been diagnosed with bowel cancer. Due to the position of the tumour, his age and other health issues he has been advised that he will not receive treatment, any intervention will be to alleviate any symptoms arising from the tumour growing. Has anybody either lived with bowel cancer or sought a second opinion? He is very independent and still enjoys going out and about so we were a bit surprised that he wouldn't be offered anything. Many Thanks.
