Hi,
I've had someone close to me very suddenly discover that she has Acute Lymphatic Leukaemia (ALL) at age 34. I'd like to be there and show up for her all the way through. I can't even start to imagine what she must be feeling. She'll be starting chemo very soon and all I really know is that it's pretty tough. It'll be in the hospital and through IV. Does anyone have any specific ways they've supported someone? Is there particular foods that she might crave, or is that just totally dependant on individuals? Anything else? I just don't really know where to begin with preparing for this, and I want to be ready. I've plenty of time on my hands, which is a good start I think.
Any ideas, thoughts very very much appreciated.
Heaps of love to everyone out there having tough times
