Hi. My mum has terminal breast cancer. She is frail and 79.

she needs daily dressing changes as the cancer is advanced and she has huge open wounds on her chest. 
My sister carry’s out all of the dressing changes and wound care at home and once week is seen by a nurse at the gp. 
my sister is away soon on a much needed holiday. 
we are now getting desperate for some home care every day whilst she is away. We are unable to get her to a surgery daily. 
we have tried McMillan, the gp and our local hospice charity we have been referred to. 
the nurse today at the gps has informed us we won’t be able to get any care at home while we need it. 
literally no one is able to help.

this surely cannot be right??

can anyone please suggest where we can turn to next. We are at the end of our tether! We live in West Sussex if this is relevant.
