Hi there not been on here for a while. I am doing well 4 years post surgery and radiotherapy for breast cancer. Unfortunately my best friend is not so lucky. She has had recurrence and having a mastectomy next week. She lives alone having lost her husband and very isolated with mostly elderly friends. She has no children or family. I’m worried about how she will cope on her own after discharge from hospital. There is no district nurse care or any help put in place for her at all. I don’t live close but will do as much as I can. She is 70 years old. Any advice please on how to help her. Thanks in advance. Mary
