Hi, my dad has bowl cancer. I was wondering if anyone had any ways they found it best to cope. I am feeling anxious, guilty and angry. Does anyone have any tips to help go through this time?

I'm sorry to hear your dad has been diagnosed with bowel cancer Lottie.
This must be a very difficult time for you and your family so it's completely understandable, and natural, to be experiencing a wide range of emotions just now, as you can see just here. I hope this information we have for family, friends and caregivers will be useful but hopefully some of our members will come forward soon to offer their thoughts and advice to you as well.
If you have any questions about your dad's diagnosis, or feel it may help to just talk things through with someone, then you're welcome to give our team of cancer nurses a call. They're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m and they'll do all they can to help.
We're thinking of you Lottie and wishing you and your dad all the very best on this journey.

wish i knew myself im 21 and my nana just got diagnosed with lung cancer at age 40 and the doctors said that its serious and she could die as she isnt strong enough to live with 1 lung. Im trying to keep it together and not breakdown. Any help for ways to help me cope as I could do with some
My Mum has just been diagnosed with bowel cancer too and she starts chemo on Monday. It's hit me quite hard, more so than anyone else in the family, which I think is because I'm single and living on my own so I don't have to same support network as my sister does from her husband.
I have constant anxiety and so can totally relate - can't help with solutions though!!
