just found out my dad has bowel cancer

hi everyone my step dad just found out he has bowel cancer, i feel so helpless coz ive never known anyone with cancer before i know i need to stay positive but im a overthinker so everything going through my head also im a worrier i know hes strong and fit for his age i just dont know how to get over this hurdle xx

    Hello, I hope you're doing okay? My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 Bowel and liver mets last September. I really do understand how it throws your world upside down.. 

    How's he doing? Great to hear he's fit and healthy for his age, as is my Dad and I really believe that stood him in good stead.

    Happy to help with any questions if I can as I know how daunting this can all be xx
