Need advice.. I found out my Nan has pancreatic cancer

Hi everyone!

My nan was hospitalised last week as she was unwell. The doctors ran some tests and they found that she has pancreatic cancer which has spread to the lungs and liver. The doctors have advised us they will be doing more tests but informed us she has 6 months left. However after reading the blogs I'm not convinced she has 6 months left, she is still in hospital and she's weak, fatigue and she hasn't been eating. I don't usually post on blogs but my Nan is my everything, she practically raised me when I was born and I can't imagine my life without her, it's absolutely heartbreaking, I wouldn't wish that pain upon anyone. I am still hopeful as she is a fighter and a strong woman. I am thinking of booking an appointment with the consultant as the doctors are still unclear and I feel they are not telling us the full story. My Nan has also been offered Palletive care, so there may be a possibility she is discharged but again it's all up in there. Sorry for rambling on, I couldn't sleep and I just needed to let my thoughts out.
