My mother-in-law has stage 4 skin cancer which has spread to her lungs and pelvis. She is currently in respite care and in the last few days has become increasingly confused to the point that she doesn’t recognise her own daughter. There is no signs of infection or stroke and her team have hinted at possible brain Mets. She is not for treatment due to the skin cancer spread however, does anyone have any experience of confusion and if there is anything that may help?
At a bit of a loss as to what to say or do for the best.
