My FIL had a partial gastrectomy in January 22. No chemotherapy due to a stroke. They found cancer in 10 out of 20 lymph nodes.
He is slowly putting on weight and has gone from 9 stone to 9.5 over the summer.
His stomach is looking larger and I'm wondering if this is ascites or cancer growing or just weight gain. Can ascites come on slowly? He is not going for scans as he doesn't want to know prognosis as he can't get treatment anyway.
Has anyone had similar.
