Firstly, welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, and I'd like to pass on our condolences.

I can only imagine how difficult things must be at the moment, and no doubt it's all feeling raw.

There is nothing you could have done, so certainly try not to feel guilty about anything. I'm sure he knew you were there with him and I'm sure this will have provided comfort.

We're always here for support whenever you need it. It can often be helpful to write things down and reach out to others, and there will be others here who have been through or are going through something similar and who understand.

Keep speaking to others if you can, whether it is friends and family, or us on here. There will always be support and people to listen. There are also organisations such as Cruse, who have helpful resources and a helpline.

Take things slowly and keep looking after yourself through everything going on.
