Replies to legal dilemma

Thank you for the replies... I will be with my relative 24/7 to look after her. I have been doing so for a while now with the support of other family members.

I just wondered if the hospital could over ride her wish to be at home... it's difficult because visiting is still restrictive in hospitals .. at home she would be surrounded by all of us.

  • Hello Bev2103

I can see that you've had some really sound responses from members of the community on your other post

If you're struggling to be able to speak to someone on the ward due to visiting restrictions then you may want to get in touch with the PALS team at the hospital. It's their role to provide a point of contact for patients, their families, and their carers.

If you'd like to chat things through with our team of nurses then you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm. I'm sure they will be happy to offer any information and support that they can.

Whatever happens, I hope that your Mum is kept comfortable and that you're supported as a family.

    Best wishes,
