I hope this information we have about having a breathing stoma and looking after it will help answer some of your questions but hopefully some of our members who have been on this journey will pop by soon to share their experiences and advice. 

Macmillan also have some useful information about laryngectomy stoma filters but if you'd like to discuss any of this with one of our cancer nurses, they'll be back after the bank holiday weekend, so from Monday onwards, on 0808 800 4040 between 9a.m - 5p.m. 

Your family member's medical team will be able to give you more information and advice about this as well.
