My mums pancreatic cancer has come back

Hi , I'm Isla

my mum in March 2020 got diagnosed with pancreatic cancer . She did 18 rounds of cemo and then a huge surgery to remove it . She was cancer free for nearly 2 years but then on the 3rd of March 2022 she was told her cancer is back . It can not be surgically removed as it is nearl a artery. This is scary . The plan is she is going to do radiation therapy. I'm scared as pancreatic cancer survivor rate is verry low and I can't loose my mum I'm only 14 . She is the kindest person you will ever meet . She use to be a police officer and then got sickly retired because of her ankle . She was being planned for a ancke replacement. This has been put on hold a nouther time . This isn't fair . Life isn't fare . I have come on here to see if yku have any advice or can help in anyways . Xxx

  • Hey baby girl

I feel for you.  I'm 52 and my mum has just been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She was working in the NHS 5 weeks ago and been in hospital for the last 3.
she lost weight very quickly but was told it was because she had  diabetes

she had a blockage in a tube that made her jaundice and very unwell. She was in hospital for 3 weeks. Came home Sunday and we are waiting to see the consultant next week to hopefully be told where and what we need to expect

the doctor at the local hospital told us. It's not good. She is also the kindest giving women you could ever meet. Always putting it others first.
    It so unfair

    where are you.
