My Dad is 87 and was admitted on Monday this week for a partial prostatectomy and a bladder scrape, we've just been told today he had biopsy's taken from bladder but they did not do the prostate bit and we will be informed why at a follow up appointment in a few weeks. He's still in hospital having been unable to wee since the operation/procedure and has been re catheterised, which they say he will have a couple of week. He was first diagnosed with prostate cancer 19 years ago and had radiotherapy at the time, he's recently been weeing a lot of blood, hence the new treatment. He tells us nothing and the hospital aren't helping.. any thoughts ? X
