I'm sorry to hear about your Mum's diagnosis and that she is struggling with some side effects at the moment. It's understandable that you're feeling concerned about her. 

You could get in touch with the specialist team that she's been referred to and ask when she may be likely to get an appointment. In the meantime, you might want to call her GP about the symptoms she is dealing with if she doesn't have a named hospital Consultant.
