Go to your gp. Most lumps turn out to be nothing, but some do turn out to be something. My wife found a similar thing in her breast (was sore too). Her one turned out to be cancer.
Doesn't mean yours will be cancerous, as the odds are stacked in your favour, but the only way you'll be able to breathe a sigh of relief is by going to your gp. Think about it, hers is more than treatable because she went right to the gp the next day, but had she been too scared and put it off, we'd have been sat in some room months down the road being told worse news.
I know it's scary and we were you a few months ago, but do it for yourself.
Hello and thank you for getting in touch with us.
I am afraid that we or anyone here cannot tell you if this lump is anything to be worried about. I think if it persists and does not get better that you should go and make a GP appointment to get it checked out.
I realise that you could be worried so please do remember that most lumps and bumps are not anything to do with cancer but should be checked out to be on the safe side.
I hope you will be okay.
Take care
Caroline
