Hello and thanks for your post
I'm sorry that your dad is still in a lot of pain, this must be a difficult time for all the family.
We have a section about pain here on our website you might find useful to read.
Unfortunately it can take time to find the correct type of pain relief or combination of medications to ease a patients pain but it is important you let your dad's medical team know how much pain he is in. They hopefully will be able to reassess him or if needed refer him to the pain specialist team or palliative care team who are the experts in controlling symptoms such as pain.
I hope the pain eases for your dad soon. Give us a ring if you want to talk anything over this. The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.
Kind regards,
Celene
