33 year old male, mostly good health beyond some left lower rib pain and fatigue.
Had an endoscopy to check stomach, found nothing - But did find a small poplyp in my esophagus, which they've taken a scrape of and sent for tests.
She said it didn't look cancerous, but shes fast tracked the sample, should get the results in two week - Told me they'll arrange for me to come in to discuss results, and to bring a loved one "just incase".
I'm absolutely terrified. I've looked online, and beign polypy's seem to be rare in that location, which makes me worried its cancer - And googling Esophagus related cancer, the mortality rate, even in first stage, is insanely high.
Am I overly worrying? Are polyp's in this location normal? I just need information, I'm scares.
