Swollen tonsil in my 15 yead old daughter

I'm completely freaking out .my 15 year old daughter has one swollen tonsil  and she keeps getting tonsil stones on that one tonsil .it's been like it for a month that we are aware of .I'm really scared .she has no other symptoms apart from feeling something stuck in throat .I ve hint through cancer 2 years ago .I'm completely freaking out

    It would be very rare for someone of your daughter's age to have cancer of the tonsil.

    Having had cancer yourself, it must be hard seeing some ongoing symptoms that are lasting for more than a few weeks, but explanations other than cancer are far more likely. It's not unusual for teenagers to have frequent throat infections, or swollen tonsils , but you can always discuss your concerns with the GP if you or your daughter remain worried.

    It's easy to say try and not worry, but hopefully things will start to settle down soon.
